Playground news
A funny little sidequest. Now with 1,000+ games.
Playground has passed 1,000 games, with thousands of players discovering what people are making with AI.
When I started collecting these links, I wanted somewhere to keep the games I was seeing on X, Reddit and elsewhere. Somewhere to find them again, credit their creators and make it easy for other people to have a go.
It brought back memories of discovering browser games on Newgrounds during IT lessons, and the games directory a friend and I built when we were about 12 or 13.
Now there are more than a thousand games here. That’s quite a sidequest.
A huge thank you to the Hacker News community, who gave Playground a wonderful boost after I shared it there this week. And thank you to everyone who has played, left a review, shared a link or submitted their own game.
Some games are small experiments. Others are surprisingly ambitious. Giving people a way to discover them, and the people behind them, is why Playground exists.
Find your next favourite. And if you’re building a game with AI, submit it through the site. It’s free.
Here’s to the next thousand.
